CINCINNATI IS PROUD TO HOST A CISV SUMMER VILLAGE. THE CHAPTER WELCOMES DELEGATES, LEADERS and JCs from over 12 countries for a 4 week camp. PLEASE JOIN US FOR a "OPEN DAY" on Saturday, July 18 from 1-4 p.m. (location TBA) The emphasis of the program is on peace education and encourages creative expression and the development of cross-cultural friendship among the children. Day by day, the participants come to realize that the differences between them are less important than the likenesses that bind them together. OPEN DAY will offer an opportunity to meet the delegates and leaders as they highlight their native countries and share their VILLAGE experiences.
CISV USA Bestows Award on Cincinnati Member at National Board Meeting Congratulations to CISV Cincinnati Chapter Treasurer, Susan Anthony, who was awarded the highest CISV USA award - The Rudy Memmel Award - for her tireless support in so many ways to the Cincinnati Chapter over the years. Considering the large number of very active people in all the other Chapters, it is a testimony to Susan that she is recognized for this award. It is well deserved and recognition is overdue. Our collective and heartfelt thanks to you, Susan, for giving of your time and talents. |
